Bastian Schweinsteiger es un futbolista alemán. Nació el 1 de agosto de 1984 en Kolbermoor, Baviera. Ocupa la posición de centrocampista y juega, generalmente, como extremo izquierdo. Es actualmente jugador del FC Bayern de Múnich, y ha resultado un pilar de la selección de Alemania durante el Mundial 2006. Posee una potencia y una pegada de afuera del área extraordinaria, que lo transformó en una de las grandes promesas del fútbol alemán y del mundo.
